Aaron Stier-Cohen
Masters Student, 2021 - 2022
Aaron’s interests involve networked publics and epistemologies. He hopes to research how information and ignorance spread across populations and how communities make shared meaning of the world around them. With a background in journalism, pedagogy, and communication, Aaron conceives of media and design as spaces of social learning, where physical, digital and bureaucratic tools educate as they are used, shaping our views, opinions, and assumptions in surprising and often invisible ways. He hopes that rendering these processes visible will help point our world towards smarter, more intentional, more humane communities.
