Nejem Raheem works at the crossroads of economics, environmental policy, and something very like anthropology (though not quite). His work addresses how indigenous or traditional communities are represented in US Federal land or marine management policy, how to integrate environmental impacts into drought planning, and how to better provide drinking water to remote communities. He has many interests, but largely confines himself to cooking, playing music, and a variety of weird workouts.
