Most recently he developed an Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program at Boston College where he taught a series of courses that brought together groups of campus-based and incarcerated students to study topics related to restorative justice at a local prison. Matt has also been lead organizer for the Ecologies of Justice Network which hosted two national conferences on environmental justice and sustainability interventions in the context of mass incarceration. He is currently leading an editorial group from this network that is producing a book to be published by Rutgers University Press.
