Tyler Prendergast (he/they) is a communications professional, graphic designer, writer, and theatremaker. Prior to joining Engagement Lab in Fall 2022, Tyler served as Marketing & Communications Manager for Company One Theatre for five seasons, working to build community at the intersection of art and social change. Previously, they worked in the marketing department at New Repertory Theatre for four seasons, where they also assistant directed several productions and performed in New Rep’s Classic Repertory Company. From 2014 to 2018, he co-produced over 60 new short plays with ShotzBoston, part of the Resident Lab at the Charlestown Working Theater. They have also worked with Actors’ Shakespeare Project, Anthem Theatre Company, Boston Center for American Performance, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Fresh Ink Theatre, Flat Earth Theatre, TCSquared, Longwood Players, Merely Players, Open Theatre Project, and Williamstown Theatre Festival.
