A panel discussion on civic engagement beyond the 2020 election, bringing together community leaders and Emerson College faculty.

Many Americans grow up believing that voting is not only necessary civic engagement, but also sufficient. However, the past year has shown us that while voting can create meaningful change, we must also engage directly with communities and hold our government accountable in order to create an equitable future. Whether it be advocating for marginalized communities, facilitating mutual aid networks, or engaging in public listening, the fight for equity does not end at the 2020 election.
